In less than ten years Bailey’s Day has raised 1.25 million dollars greatly impacting on the standard of care for children affected with cancer!

Through tireless effort, Bailey’s Day has proudly funded the training for 11 Oncologists, supported struggling families and improved the quality of care and resources at the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.

Although Bailey’s Day raises money throughout the year, it’s the first Tuesday of December that’s the special date where the charity really makes some magic.

Last year’s luncheon, golf and auction day saw a new record in the charity’s history!

With just over $220,000 raised, all involved were blown away by the generosity of the 306 guests who attended.

In a first for the event, guests were entertained by a choir of children from Narre Warren North Primary and later, special guests Darryl and Harmony Lovegrove stirred the room to tears with their beautiful vocal abilities.

Bailey’s Day host and former 60 minutes journalistIan Leslie kept everything running smoothly while auctioneer Mark Sawicki had the room in stitches with his hilarious antics.

Now in its eighth year, Bailey’s Day has its sights set on cancer research and development. We’re aiming for 2012 to produce another magnificent result for all involved, especially the children who need us the most.

Bailey’s Day would like to thank all who get involved with the organisation - no matter what your contribution; you are making a difference to lives of children affected with cancer.

See you on December 4!
