With over a million dollars raised, Bailey’s Day is making a real difference to the lives of children affected with cancer as well as their families and those who can help them. All year round the charity raises money through donations and merchandise, however on one special day every year the charity makes a little magic.

Last year’s luncheon was a marvelous success with $210,000 raised to support Monash Children’s Cancer Centre and vital cancer research. A record breaking 309 luncheon guests enjoyed the delicious food provided and were entertained by the illustrious Barry Crocker. Of course no one will forget the help of talented auctioneer Ashley Bramich and fantastic host Ian Leslie.

Every year the incredible guests and generous sponsors make a real difference for children with cancer. Bailey’s Day has funded the training of 11 oncology fellows and these young doctors have been able to train and develop their careers, with some travelling overseas and taking their training even further.

These fellows also help support the tremendous work of Dr Peter Downie and the staff at Monash Children’s Cancer Centre and will share their knowledge and expertise far and wide in the future.

Bailey’s Day would like to thank all who get involved with the organisation - you are all helping to aid important cancer research – a noble cause if there ever was one!
